Directions for use: Begin with a few drops to the affected area and gently rub in. Adjust amount according to the depth of penetration you desire. For deep muscle and joint pains, use a bit more and repeat several times for the first day of use. Those with sensitive skin may notice a slight "warming" sensation in the area. Wait 5 - 10 minutes and re-apply a few more drops. Coverage area at this dose will be approximately a 3 inch circle. Adjust amount according to the size of the area you wish to treat. For relief of insect bites and stings, just apply a drop directly to the bite or sting and leave it to soak in.

Poison Ivy trouble? The problem is caused by the oil (urushiol) from the Poison Ivy, Rhus radicans and it's close relative, Poison Oak. This is what you must treat, not the reaction of your body's defenses to it. For optimum results, thoroughly cover the affected area with "Balm of Gilead" and let it sit for 2 minutes. Wash well with soap and cold water, pat dry. Re-apply the solution and let sit for 2 minutes. Wash with soap and cold water, and pat dry. Re-apply the solution a third time and allow it to remain and be absorbed into your skin. Thereafter, apply the solution twice daily, until the area is well.
